If you come on a long weekend, pls expect a super long queue. However queue move fast, order was fast too. They got a simple workable system. Food wise was so so. Typical go to local delight. If i am a local, i would be a regular patron.

Found this place completely by accident while walking around Georgetown, and honestly, this is exactly my kind of vibe. Simple menu, simple setup, simple food — nothing overly fancy, just a very cozy and chill atmosphere.

The toast lacked a charcoal aroma, but the steamed toast was quite good. The hot coffee was also good; they sell instant coffee packets. I'm not sure if their toasted bread was grilled with charcoal or gas.

usually thrs a que on wkends, google opening time and actual shop open time might b diff (went thr once which google says it is open but it ws closed when i went thr) toast are really crispy, alot of butter, kaya not much taste...

I'd say it's well worth the visit - there's always a small line of people, but the queue moves quite fast. Something about the quaint yet busy little alley evokes a nostalgia of times past. We enjoyed the nasi lemak, coffee and kaya toast.

Long queue on a weekend but line moves quite fast. Coffee toast and hainanese toast were good. Eggs served in cups were special and really good but drinks are so-so. Hot yuan yang and hot coffee tastes the same.

I bought the bread with egg but i would recommend to try the charcoal bread with kaya and sliced butter bcs it tasted really good!! The waiting line is also not that long but just be prepared that u will sit with random person lol

Classic traditional kopitiam in the 'lorong' but serves with modern menu. Kopi is good, half-boiled egg on butter bread a little oily for my liking. Breezy wind through the building gap keep us cooling on hot hot day.

The toast is quite cold when served. Maybe want to serve faster as the queue is long. Local coffee is great though. Nasi lemak sambal is not that spicy, so tourist can accept it better.
