There are only a few cafes in Penang selling Lemon Koay Teow T’ng (KTT). Xin Yuan in Butterworth is one of them. I am a KTT lover, and this cafe catches my eyes as it sells Lemon KTT.

The Lemon Koay Teow Soup here was very nice. The soup had a clear, distinct big-bone flavor, the koay teow was perfectly slippery, and the minced pork pieces were generous. The fishballs were also good.

Came here at 630, was shocked when we saw there is already a crowd waiting for their food. The original soup was very savoury and fresh, when added with the lemon it gives a zesty kick to it.
