Tried the Golden fried noodles - a saltier darker cousin of CKT. Dont know what ppl mean by generous egg - it’s only one egg , the same for all. Missable / Avoidable if on limited stomach space. Tried the hand made pan mee.

Had a really enjoyable meal here! The coffee was rich, fragrant, and perfectly brewed. The chee cheong fun was incredibly smooth and silky, with a delicious sauce that complemented it well.

This is a kopitiam located near Concubine Street. I came here looking for the Golden Char Kway Teow (CKT). The Golden CKT was acceptable. It has enough wok-hei (wok heatiness smokiness) but not enough flavour and taste.

I originally wanted to order egg tarts, but the owner said the old man who used to make them hadn't done it for years, and there was no one to carry on the craft—what a pity.

The noodles at this teahouse were a pleasant surprise! The noodles were springy and delicious. The young people there were very energetic, and this traditional-style noodle dish was definitely worth trying.

first off, super concentrated iced coffee. delicious. we tried the char koay teow. it's really ipoh style; worth trying if you want to discern the difference with penang char koay teow. the place is quite clean for a local coffeeshop.

Newly built Guocha Restaurant: I ordered coffee $2.9 + coffee + milk tea $2.9 + Milo $3.6 + grilled bread $2.8 = 12.2, but they charged me 13 (I was overcharged and disappointed with the food... I left the dishcloth on the bread).

Had the dry curry noodles with "prawns" and chicken. The taste was bland, and this was the worst thing I ate in Ipoh by a large margin. The noodles came out of a bag, and the "prawns" was one single frozen shrimp. Extremely disappointing.

This is an authentic Malaysian tea restaurant. The chee cheong fun (rice noodle rolls) comes with tomato sauce, which is a matter of personal preference, but I love it.

Food option are limited got curry noodles and Chee Cheong Fun . Only golden char kuey teow is famous. The char kuey teow is tasty and not too oily. But the portion is bit small and pricey. The white kopi is also ok
