77 Food Yard (formerly Kwai Lock) is our go-to breakfast spot whenever Jien and I are in Penang. This coffeeshop houses quite a few Penang hawker stalls and majority are decent or above average – so you get to enjoy a variety of Penang favourites under one roof.

This is another great option in Georgetown. The herbal duck mee sua is famous here and I absolutely loved the broth even though the duck meet was a little tough.

Food were not that tasty anymore since I last patronized. I almost vomited when I sawwith my own eye on the stalk selling fish porridge. I was sitting next to the stall. The owner after sharpening the knife, he didn't washed the knife.

What a hidden gem around Pulau Tikus Market. Must try their one of the tenant inside this hawker center. Must try their Sarawak Kolo Mee. Its really really delicious. Their noodle is one of the best in Penang for sure. I like it.

Well, this is one of the breakfast spots in Pulau Tikus market. The steamed buns here are delicious, worth a try. The white coffee is also great. The place is quite clean. The staff is also quick 💯.

Food stalls are all good here. The only problem is with the owner of the coffee shop. It’s 2025 and yet he still does not believe in eWallet cashless payment for drinks. He also often sits at the outside smoking away happily.

We ordered the kayak bay, fish ball noodles, char siu gon lou, steam turnip cake. Kaya Bau surprisingly amazingly delish, fragrant n not sweet. Both Noodle dishes okay. Turnip cake terrible!

The water was absolutely awful 🤮 And the owner, with his slightly gray hair, had an incredibly bad attitude. I even saw him yelling at the workers once, which made my water unusable.
