everyday is your birthday. huge plump prawns are first thing you'll notice, and of course they're tender and toothsome. that's just icing on cake though. which is the soup.

Decent “birthday noodles” (a traditional dish served with strips of coloured fried eggs, prawns, bean sprouts, yellow noodles and yummy broth) available here. Not easily available everywhere.

This is one of the very few stalls left in Penang that still sells authentic and traditional Chinese birthday noodles. Glad to see this tradition being preserved.

A rather strange experience. I didn't try the taste; it wasn't bad, but it wasn't good either. I strongly advise against the fried kway teow from the stall next door. Not only did it lack aroma, it was also fried until burnt.

Locates in a coffee shop, this Lam Mee is delicious, especially the broth. I would prefer that the sambal to be the raw nyonya sambal belachan, but it is still nice.
