“Discover” Koay Teow Th’ng Lebuh Melayu while on my way to Ping Hooi Cafe for breakfast. Apart from KTT, they also have koay chap, duck rice and duck porridge too. Duck meat KTT. Soup base is good, slight sweet.

Tucked within the old building at Lebuh Melayu, just next to Ping Hooi Cafe where you find Tiger Char Koay Teow. Al dante Koay Teow Th'ng is sold in the morning while Duck Porridge in the noon. Best time to try both would be between 11.

This Koay Teow Th’ng stall may fare differently than others, as it only opens at nights. Their version is quite light-bodied with a perfect hint of sweetness, embracing your taste buds with every spoonful.

An old school style Koay Teow Thng with factory fishballs in a hearty broth made with old egglayers and pork entrails. The basic bowl (RM5) comes with a quartet of fishballs and shredded chicken meat, reminiscent of school canteen fare.
