Came here for an early dinner after driving up from KL. Arrived exactly at 6pm. Saw that it was a Michelin star awarded place 4 years running, must try! You can easily drive past as it shares it's place with a car servicing workshop.

Hidden gem with a spicy kick!" I recently tried the Char Koay Teow here and was thoroughly impressed. The "wok hei" (breath of the wok) is very prominent, giving the noodles a great smoky aroma.

Despite the long queue and crowded dining area, the CKT did not disappoint. Average waiting time for the CKT were around 30 mins. Take it hot if you can handle the spiciness of chili in CKT, I reckon that would be more flavorful.

The fried kway teow was super delicious, but the clams were a bit of a disappointment (there was sand in them). The other dishes were just average.

His fried kway teow had a wonderful wok hei (wok aroma) and smelled amazing; I wanted to order another serving after eating it. There were also people directing traffic and parking, which was a nice experience.

A local food selected on Michelin guide for 3 years straight. Ordered Duck egg char koay teow with poached egg and Chinese sausages. Definitely a good combo. Drink something refreshing instead of kopi'o less/half sweet😅

The CKT was ok. Nothing to shout about. But the octopus is a must Order! If you stay in George town, not worth the trip to come here for the CKT.
