At last @8.30 pm I managed to get a seat at Super Star Koay Teow Soup as it’s always jammed packed. Very friendly owner, good value for money RM15. Comes with pig intestines, stomach, giblets n an egg.

Finally braving ourselves to queue for this and their koay teow th'ng is too overpowered by pepper, we can easily find many better versions in Penang and even in KL.

One of the popular stalls at Kimberley Street is this stall. Super Star Koay Teow Soup (rice noodle soup). It is popular for marinated chicken feet, drumstick and other items. The queue is expected to be long.

The dish had options in clear, black and dry versions. Kway teow clear soup came with fish balls, liver and chicken pieces. The ingredients were of average quality and its winner was its deep tasting broth. Excellent flavor and balance.

If you're visiting Penang, this is a must-try. Highly recommended, and my favorite is the koey teaw sauce and all the mixed platters. 🫶🏻 The queue was long, but the service was fast, and the staff were very helpful.

Came here to try their koay teow soup and braised items. I ordered the black soup koay teow and the braised mix-and-match delight. The koay teow soup was flavorful with a rich and comforting broth.

I came here after hearing so much about it and wasn't disappointed. I ordered a platter; the flavors were sweet but not cloying, and salty but not overpowering. The chicken feet were so tender you could practically suck them out.

I ordered the L10 set meal, which cost 16 Malaysian Ringgit. It included pork belly, pork intestines, and chicken gizzards. They were stewed until incredibly tender. However, I wasn't used to it being too sweet.

Well, I don't know if it was because the food wasn't good that day, but it's recommended in the 2026 Michelin Guide again? Did they not try it? I really don't know what other restaurants recommended online have I tried.

Super delicious! I took the original Koay teow soup and it was delicious 🤤 The owner speaks English and he was very friendly and told me that there is “a liver piece” inside and I can try it just remove if I don’t like it.

It used to be just a roadside stall, but now it's a storefront, so you can eat comfortably. The prices are affordable, and the set menu is simple 👍🏻 It's all braised food, but I came specifically for the chicken feet.

Super super satisfied with the braised pork. Went here last year, still as good. The ear, gizzard, intestine is all soft juicy and tender. Sauce while black does not taste as heavy.
