At Yee Hai Kopitiam. The Asam Laksa was so delicious that I ordered a second bowl before I finished it. Big pieces of fish meat. The fish balls were very special and had a strong five-spice flavor.

The laksa at Perak lane, Yee hai Kopitiam was different and had more of a local twist to it. Broth was sweet, and mackerel was served as a slice rather than shredded. A great addition was the fishball, which was big and bouncy!

Just tried the Barbecued Pork Jerky Toast / Sandwich at Yee Hai Kopitiam in Penang, and it was such a pleasant surprise. The combination of crispy toasted bread with the rich, savory-sweet bak kwa was simply delicious.

You got to believe me, this Laksa DESERVES a Michelin guide. It might not look good (shop) but holy cow the laksa was so delicious at only RM6. The fish portion was really generous.

The food court was old-fashioned and felt a bit dirty. The service was so-so. Neither good nor bad. The food was also so-so; I didn't really like it, but my husband loved the crispy skin of the duck.
