One of the oh so yummy nasi kandar I have tastes in awhile. I happened to pass by and noticed the queue so I came back later. They serve lamb shank as well but I felt that I couldn't finish the oversized dish so I opted for simple dishes.

Personally, this is one of the better Nasi Kandar spots in Penang. Conveniently located near Masjid Kapitan, Armenian Street, and right in the heart of Georgetown.

On the second day in Penang, I tried Nasi Kandar again, after also eating Nasi Kandar the night before. However, I had to adapt to the second time because the sauce wasn't as much as the last time. The side dish was lamb, so it was special.

My experience was quite bad . Stinky food, cold, overpriced. I stayed in Penang near masjid Kapitan area in April 2025 for about a week. I never saw many people eating in this restaurant. So I already had a not very good feeling.

Worth it... Came on weekdays, not many people... Ordered white rice and side dishes only... Within rm50... The waiter set a table for us, because the shop had just opened... The chicken was delicious... The curry was a little spicy.. 👍❤️

I got nasi briyani, ayam kari, telur masin, kobis, and okra. The meal was ok. Spice level is mid-range. I ate with my right hand, sat on the table out on the sidewalk. There's a sink nearby with soap where you can wash your hands.

I really didn't want to eat Chinese stir-fried dishes like fried kway teow. After searching for ages, I finally found an Indian restaurant that had okra and vegetables. The prices were reasonable.
