I found this stall by accident while walking back to my car. It sits opposite De View Hotel and has quietly built a strong reputation in the Air Itam Laksa scene. At around 15 years old, it is the newest of the three, but it holds its own.

My taxi driver recommended this place on my way to Kek Lok Si temple if I wanted the best Asam laksa in town! I was hesitant at first, as the only experience I had of asam laksa was years ago, which wasn't the best!

You really must try this assam laksa stall before you die! Broth has great fishy umami, rice noodles slippery and not too thick. Best of all, they actually put slices of local mackerel on top of the noodles. Not seen this since when!

best assam laksa in town 👍 cendol here is much better than the famous one in penang street. cendol is soft, ice is not too icy, red beans are soft and yummy, and it is not too sweet.

Came to this shop behind the famous assam laksa spot to escape the crowds. The laksa noodles are boink boink with fresh mint, raw onions, pineapples and the fish-boiled broth with a finishing touch of a fish slice.

I had Asam Laksa & Cendul 15 years ago, and it's still so delicious when I come back! 🤤 Generous portions, small noodles, plus a bowl of cendul 👍🏻

The laksa was delicious before, but when I came back it was really disappointing. Before, the laksa had a rich flavor and a bright red color; now it's watery and bland. Did you add a lot of water? The flavor is completely gone.

This laksa is delicious! It's refreshing overall and contains mint, cucumber, and shredded vegetables. The flavor is on the sour and spicy side. I also recommend adding a side of fish balls; they're very bouncy and have a rich fish flavor.
