Amazing flavors of “Home Cooked” style by third generation since 1960s. Highlights are curry prawns, black sauce fish (favorite), belacan chicken. All perfectly balanced tastes.

It's Michelin rated for a few years now. My first time coming here was maybe 15 years ago. Can't be sure. I remembered eating the curried prawns last time so it must be good.

This is homecooked food level up to near perfection. You would see all the plates go empty, leaving behind the sauces/gravy which you may still scoop onto your rice, if by this time you haven't cleaned them up.

Great traditional old school home cooking but without air conditioning. 5 free car parks in front of the restaurant with plenty more on the adjoining street. Must eat place if anyone is hungry in Butterworth.

Local nostalgic foods, old school kopitiam with these wooden chair and rounded table. Food is tasty and delicious, black sauce fried fish, fried prawn with soy sauce, kailan and taufu is my appetite.
