One of the better Char Koay Teow in town. I am having it with 2 eggs. The Hor Ka Sai drink is a fresh addictive. Can be hard to find a seat sometimes.. Can see the size of the ckt is smaller after 3 years and winning the Penang prize.

Ravi’s clay pot appam is my must go to each time in Penang. Not to be missed. It is located in Swee Kong coffee shop in Jalan Burma amidst other hawker stalls. It has recently been awarded the Michelin guide.

The champion of the char kuey teow competition is inside this coffee shop. Not just this CKT good, the kuey teow thng (soup noodles), prawn mee (hokkien mee), nyonya kueh, are equally good.

solid — strong wok hei char kuey teow. prawns also look fresh and nicely seared, not overcooked. The lap cheong (Chinese sausage) gives it that sweet smoky flavor too.

One of my fav morning kopitiam in Penang. It's a no frills restaurant near Pulau Tikus market. I have been coming here for years when I am visiting. Prices much reasonable vs "popular" places.
