My family and I love the loh bak here. Several years ago, when I visited Penang with my husband, we ate there almost every night. We packed back a few to our home country for our family to try!

The 4th Gen lor bak was awesome. They are not selling just the meat but ngoh hiang (beancurd skin) wrapped with pork meat. The meat was tender and not dry. Very different from the usual ngoh hiang I have eaten which usually use minced meat.

Within New lane night market , this is one of the most popular stalls which has been operating since 1970. Ngoh hiong and prawn roll were excellent while the prawn fritter was average in taste and texture.

It's really delicious, especially the fried dough sticks and tuna—they're so crispy and delicious, I couldn't stop eating them! The five-spice rolls and pork sausages are also fantastic, with a satisfyingly meaty texture.
