Nestled along Lebuh Presgrave, in the same row of shophouses as the famous 888 Hokkien Mee. Here’s a backstory, Eng Kor Cha Bi started as a small stall about two decades ago, and have just recently moved into a brick-and-mortar store.

Assortment Kochabi kuih, Nasi Ulam, Kiam Rice Set, Kerabu Meehoon and Nasi Kerabu at Eng Kor Cha Bi. Food is delicious and price reasonable but parking is a challenge. One set of Mee Sua Kor RM18.00.

Yam Meatball was quite nice. Something different. Mangkuang Char was nice too. One of the nicest so far in Penang. The portion is just a little bit too small. Bak Steak was not good in my opinion.

Takeaway of some fried buns (small and has a hint of flavour, black sesame was best for me), deep fried rice patties (average), steam bun (skin was a bit cheewy) and sweet and sour pork balls (average) + rice.

Traditional Hokkien style confectioneries that have been passed down from generations away. Most of the kuih here are hand made and I would say that it's all hard work. The rice kuih (forgot the name already) was pretty good.

The rice noodles exceeded my expectations; they were delicious, and I'd definitely go back for more. I also really enjoyed the traditional pastries—they were delicious too.

Dropped by from friends recommendations. Bought a few to try and the kids was loving it too. We bought the golden rice patties with peanut, radish kuih, siow bao with lotus paste and black sesame which was pretty good.

Went late around 430 5pm, there are less food choices around this time. Encourage everyone to come earlier if u want to try more food. Only managed to eat snack/kuih and all of them taste good. May try the other menus next time

Ordered some kuih 3 for rm5. Kuih tasted mediocre Acar was on the sweeter side, whereas I think it should be more on the sour spicy side. Bihun was not bad I guess.

Interesting Hokkein food. Small, tasting portions. All full of spices & flavours. Good range of choices. Enough seats. Not busy during non peak hours. Friendly service.

the菜脯kuih is super delicious 🤤 very soft and chewy.Service is 💯 as the boss will explain the menu to u nicely 👍🏻 the nasi ulam is so flavourful 🤯
