Maxim Dim Sum Pekaka is recommended as the first eating pit stop if you have just arrived at Penang Airport. I remember this outlet to be very popular and my favorite dim sum in the vicinity. Once you try it, you’ll know why!

Maxim Dim Sum restaurants probably is one of the biggest dim sum group in Penang. They operate their main outlet in Taman Pekaka, and have several outlets spanning across Penang Island - Tai Tong , Max Gourmet in Gurney Plaza, Kuta Bali and Komtar Walk.

As promised earlier (was that like centuries ago?), another branch of this dim sum chain store in penang, situated in pekaka square, this place is loaded with ppl during weekends, so i had some of the so called more popular dim sum.....

A bit crowded. Need to go early. Very good and fast service to clean and clear the tables. Dim Sum is good, a wide variety and lots of other choices for noodles. One of the best places for Dim Sum in Penang.
