I just reach Penang and this is my first meal in Penang. I'm so lucky to dine here. Any restaurant I first visit, I will order food with spicy, sour, salty, sweet flavors to see how well the chef could manage.

Chap Goh Mei dinner with wifey. Initial thought was to have western food for dinner. Last minute change plan and stumbled upon this marvelous chu char place. We ordered 3 dishes. Will be my favorite dinner spot.

The food overall tastes not bad. The milk soup with fish fillet was decent, but it lacked a rich, milky flavor. The salted egg tofu was tasty and well done. The chives roll was slightly on the oily side.

One of the best Chinese restaurants I've ever been to, and I'd just spent four weeks in China. The food was different from what you get in China, but still very good. I highly recommend the Mapo Tofu and Gong Bao Chicken!

Delicious, flavourful and well-portioned food served extremely fast, great selection and reasonably priced, especially for the lunch menu which we had. I had Kam Heong mantis shrimp and Nam Joo pork belly, both excellent.
