Dig a little deeper and you will find a seafood place called Cheang Kee Restaurant. This place if I did my research correctly, used to be located in Tanjung Bungah. It has now relocated to 36, Lebuh Leith, Georgetown.

Update: they no longer serve the hotpot! Original review: we were really jonesing for some good soup after a hike and we found them on Google. Great experience, it hit the spot and we will be coming back.

Booked Cheang's for a team dinner. Chee Ling was very helpful and thoughtful over WhatsApp in coordinating the booking and set meal selection. The dishes arrived beautifully presented and quickly too.

Been twice. Ingredients were fresh and well cooked with nice sauce and seasoning are on point. Price I feel is on the higher side but still reasonable. Staffs were friendly. Area was clean.

Food are delicious, but not trying much on seafood. The prawns we ordered are a bit overcooked but it seasoned well. Not much selection except for seafood, not so suitable if you not keen on seafood.

Overall the food is fresh & delicious good and comfortable for dining with family. Each dish is unique and delicious. One waiter will be in the room to serve you. Excellent service. Price is reasonable.
