Their stall used to be at Huat Seng Coffee Shop but then they have moved to the shop at three doors away, named Ah Soon Hillside Cafe. Steaming hot CKT, came with shiny looking koay teow looks so intriguing.

Tried Ah Soon Char Koay Teow and it absolutely hit the spot. The flavour is exactly what we look for—rich, smoky, and genuinely authentic. We had both versions of the CKT: one with duck egg and one with chicken egg, and both came loaded…

Easily one of the best char kuey teow I’ve ever had! Ah Soon Char Kuey Teow in Tanjung Tokong has over 40 years of history, and you can really taste the experience in every bite.

i think i had the worst ckt in penang is way toooo plain, oily and the laap cheong is so hard like plastic, also i only have one siham (not worth the price) when i was ordering it was a non malaysia cooking and we couldn’t even communicate…

We were told that this was a very good CKT to try out. It had some "wok hei" flavour to it, however, it was sadly plain and bland. we got a better one later at the Astaka Hillside food centre.

First time tried Ah Soon Fried Koay Teow with duck egg is good 👍 Koay Teow soup & Lobak nothing to shout about. So just try their specialty which is CKT.

Came here for breakfast. Char koay tiow is really nice. Had soft boiled eggs and toasted bread. Their tea is top notch. Overall very nice experience with old time vibe coffee shops.
