One bite and you could tell the roti has been properly kneaded, tossed and slapped around enough to achieve that flaky, crusty-outside yet airy-inside paper-thin layers that crumbled in my mouth.

Went to this roti canai stall at Teluk Air Tawar. Local spot, I was the only tourist or day tripper there. Here is self-service. You lineup, you order, you collect your roti and take your own kuah.

Delicious roti - crispy and full of flavour with just the right amount of grease. The curry was nice too. This is a very popular breakfast spot for a reason.
