Manned by the fourth generation, Thum Kee Char Hor Fun 谭记炒河粉 is an old Penang food store that withstood the test of time. Their recent expansion at Jalan Presgrave is well-received and offers a more spacious, comfortable dining experience to the regular patrons.

Nice Char Hor Fun with a satisfying wok hei aroma that really brings out the flavour. There is a good variety of dishes to choose from, making it suitable for different tastes. The restaurant is spacious with plenty of seating available.

I had a very satisfying dinner at Thum Kee Char Hor Fun. The stir-fried rice noodles were delicious, the snacks were also good, the food was served quickly, and the waiters were very polite. Overall, it was a great experience.

Amazing spot for Penang-style char hor fun and fried dishes. Everything we ordered, from the crab char hor fun to the fried shrimp balls, was fresh and full of flavor. Highly recommended!

The sar horfun had the right amount of wok hei and tasty enough without tasting like its loaded with msg. We added some prawn fritters which was v good - fresh large shrimps and light crispy batter. Menu was very limited though.
