A satisfying plate of char kway teow with great wok hei and a nice balance of sweet and savoury flavours. The noodles were well-fried without being too oily, and the ingredients were fresh and generous.

Mr. Fire fries each plate individually and the way you like it. Unlike most of the big names n star places. I usually stand there and chat with him as he does his magic with the noodles.

He recently moved from Desiran Tanjung Foodcourt to a kopitiam opposite Prima Tanjung in Fettes Park. (adjacent to induan mamak restaurant) Still the best char koay teow in this part of Penang!

The service was fast and the char koey teow work 'hei' very 👍. We order 4 plates and every plate quality is satisfying! No disappoinment. In the same stall have fried 'You Tioa' and western food too.

lives up to its name. both the fire and char parts of it. good payload, as you'd expect in CKT country, but also about as well cooked as it gets. fire needs bigger stage on which to burn.

Now doesn't that look good. Tasted even better. The duck egg char koay teow had great balance between the smokiness and spicyness. Ordered it home and it was neatly packed and securely delivered along with chopsticks.

I enjoyed the Char Koay Teow yesterday and returned today at 12pm but there was no one here, although they don't close until 2pm. It was disappointing to walk this far for nothing.

This is a hidden gem! With no long queue, and reasonably priced (RM7 with 2 huge prawns), the Char Koay Teow here screams truly authentic, Penang-style taste that makes it easily rank Top 3 of best CKT in Penang.
