The Farlim Shell Station Laksa Cafe is a local favourite spot for Asam Laksa. As you can guess, the stall sells Asam Laksa and despite its name, is located in a proper kopitiam.

One of the places that whenever I am back, I would constantly drop by this place for a bowl of pippin hot laksa that is under the shade and not hot which is quite near my house.

Whenever I got the laksa craving, I will definitely come to Farlim here for it’s laksa . They are really famous in the past, however, ever since they move to this new shop, their business seems to drop since every time I patronize them, only a few customer are in there.

It has been as a long time since I have taken any Laksa and decided to visit the famous Farlim Shell Station Laksa stall. The last time I went to the shop for their Laksa, they where at the opposite coffee shop where the crowd was amazing.

When it comes to our personal pick, Laksa Shell Station at Farlim is alw ays our favourite. I enjoyed the laksa here due to its thick broth and the chef is generous in throwing some deboned mackerel ( ikan kembung ) slices. It has a balance of sweetness, sourness and spiciness.

Absolutely the best Assam Laksa I have ever tasted. The laksa was rich, tangy, and layered with spice and depth. They used whole fish, not broken bits, which added to the overall flavour.

Laksa taste good, above average. It is Malay style of laksa. Soup is flavorfull but ingredients not so much. Their ordering system is a mess, especially when full house, very messy.

The famous legendary Laksa of all-time in Air Itam. How does it taste like? Beyond my expectations but fall short in terms of soup temperature, the soup portion and their shaved ice.

Nestled in a row of shophouses is Farlim shell station laksa which as you can tell from the namesake, used to operate beside a shell station nearby. They have gone on to occupy a whole unit with ample seating.

Today I came with my family to this Farlim Shell Station laksa shop and everything was so good 🤤 The food was delicious, especially the laksa ~super yummy and full of flavor! ❤️ Definitely a nice spot for family meals. Highly recommended!

1 of the best asam laksa in Penang. Recommended by local hotel staff. The soup is tasty. RM 6/bowl The bak kwa bun with floss next to the laksa stall also highly recommended. Bun is soft and bak kwa tasted good. RM 3.

Asam Laksa is my everytime must have in Penang. This place is the best for me. Together with Ais Kacang is perfect. The Bak gua bread is a top up as well. The food is well worth it although the place is abit warm.

Recommended by a local foodie. It was really good even for someone who isn’t the biggest fan of asam laksa. Please also try dipping the popiah into the soup.

This was awful!! I couldn't understand the taste, and it was even sweet. I took a taxi 7 kilometers to eat here, and I'm speechless. The service was also terrible.
