I have no idea how this “green tomyam” got a Michelin nod. Perhaps compared to typical Malaysian food it’s unique, but as far as Thai green tom yam soups go, this is beyond basic.

Located inside the hawker stalls MBPP padang Kota Lama. Come here to try the famous and recommended Green Tomyam Fish Noodles. The maggi noodle is Nuuna brand I saw.

My family like to eat their green tomyam but i cant eat spicy. I choose their fried mee hoon with fish but it still taste nice👍 the mee full with wok hei taste. Worth to try. The only things is very hot and easily sweat.

We had heard so many recommendations about the Green Tom Yum, and finally got the chance to try it ourselves. The queue was quite long, but it moved smoothly, so the wait wasn’t too bad. While waiting, we ordered a few snacks to enjoy.

Tomyam is great, queue is long, price is rm12 per bowl. Can come and try for first time but will not purposely come for second time. The fried fish is good and fresh, broth is great and intense enough.

Finally got to try the super hyped green tomyum noodles, and it turned out to be one of the best, if not the best, I’ve had in Penang. The green tomyum tastes like a Thai sour lime soup, and the first sip really woke up my taste buds.

It used to taste quite good but now it’s really not as good as before and the prices have gone up too. The worst part was having to queue for a 1 full hour likely because they received Michelin recognition in recent years.

Although the selection isn't extensive, ordering is convenient, so while the queues are long, they're not too long, and you can even combine it with other stalls.
