Although the owner named their shop as Fish jelly, they don't serve jelly fish but Yong Tau Foo instead. Like any other Yong Tau Foo, they do have varieties of fish ball based ingredients and crispy stuff for you to pick.

Kampar Fish Jelly ? No idea why it was named Fish Jelly. The place sells Yong Tau Foo (酿豆腐 stuffed bean curd) where it refers to ingredients to be stuffed with meat paste of fish and pork.

If you are the Yong tou fu lover and lives nearby this area. This will be the good place. The restaurant will be busy during dinner hours, however they are quite organised. From order to table sitting it won’t take too long.

You queue up to choose your noodles either dry or soup and then pick your preferred fish balls and stuffed tofu, which they will set aside separately for you. The soup base is on the lighter side.

Cheap and good food, tasty springy noodles with fragrant lard minced pork sauce. Love the variety of veges stuffed with fish paste (hence the fish jelly). Soup is light and not oily, so good and healthy

Fish Jelly is a definite must-visit! The prices are even more reasonable than Kampar. I didn't know Penang had a place like this... If it were closer to home, I'd come here often.

I went there after years. Food still good and price is okay. RM1.20 for normal pieces. The only thing is using single use chopsticks and cups, will be better if can avoid single use utensils.

The Hakka noodles here are delicious. Yong Tao Foo too. Both come with a reasonable price too.
