Although Ann has since relocated, there is yet another new stall (Kim Laksa) operating at Nan Guang, run by Christine. Right opposite the road, there are other stalls selling laksa as well. To each its own I say.

A very popular Asam Laksa kopishop style restaurant,you can ordered the foods here and eat next door which has air cond. Service is friendly. They serve two options of Laksa,Asam and curry styles.

The words Kim Laksa are not on the outside of the shop. Looks inside near the cooking area to see. Drinks are sold by another business inside the shop. It is simple tasty laksa served quicky. We had Asam Laksa and Siam Laksa.

This is a well-known local Penang laksa shop. The soup base is made with sardines and has a rich spice flavor. The noodles (similar to rice noodles) are chewy and springy.

Not sure if it is worth travelling all the way to balik pulau for this laksa spot ... Broth was pretty good, wish there was an option to add more fish chunks. The siam laksa was quite special.

I ordered both types of Lhasa, and I preferred the Assam Lhasa. It had plenty of fish, and it came with pineapple, lemongrass, and tamarind—it was so delicious!
