Got a duck egg CKT for 7MYR in December 2025. The size is a bit smaller but enough for me at breakfast. A friendly owner greeted me and take order and took note on spicy level. A 20 min wait at 9.30 AM was not too bad .

so yums! walked into this random kopitiam for breakfast & ended up loving the char koay teow here. wok hei was there & it was spicy. rm6 for chicken egg & rm7 for duck egg.

jin kopitiam mid april 25 a little eggy ... very little wok hei ... a delicate fry, some would say elegant ... on the bland side ... I prefer a more ballsy iteration disappointing overall 2.5*s ymmv .........................................

Maybe my expectation was too high after reading the stellar reviews. I think it is only so so, not really worth the trip. Too bland and greasy. I have tasted better CKT in Penang and elsewhere.

The old man's stir-fried kuey teow was very fragrant 👍🏻 The duck eggs were RM more expensive, but they weren't salty and tasted great 👍🏻

RM6 per plate for the char kuey teow—cheaper than most kuey teow in town, but it might not be the best. The taste is slightly above average, waited 30 minutes.

Recommend by a grab driver, who is local. I ordered Char Kuay Teow to the Uncle. His Char Kuay Teow is perfectly seasoned no need to put condiments on it. You could taste the wok hei from it.

Very tasty food, friendly people. Something went wrong possibly, we ordered big but got small. But since we had to wait long we didn't say anything because we were in a hurry and we probably paid for small as well.
