Amazing flavors of “Home Cooked” style by third generation since 1960s. Highlights are curry prawns, black sauce fish (favorite), belacan chicken. All perfectly balanced tastes.

I had lunch at Bee See Heong 美时香餐室, a well-known spot that has earned Michelin Selected recognition for three consecutive years (2023–2026). With that reputation in mind, the visit certainly lived up to expectations.

It's Michelin rated for a few years now. My first time coming here was maybe 15 years ago. Can't be sure. I remembered eating the curried prawns last time so it must be good.

This is homecooked food level up to near perfection. You would see all the plates go empty, leaving behind the sauces/gravy which you may still scoop onto your rice, if by this time you haven't cleaned them up.

4 dishes with 2 rice and 2 drinks RM161.50. The price is consider expensive with the small portions and no air cond environment. Although food taste nice but may not come here anytime soon again with this expensive price.

This restaurant is awarded Michelin 2024 and 2025. Signature dishes is black sauce fish, curry prawn and belacan fried chicken. Don't expect a wow experience for the food.

Great traditional old school home cooking but without air conditioning. 5 free car parks in front of the restaurant with plenty more on the adjoining street. Must eat place if anyone is hungry in Butterworth.

Local nostalgic foods, old school kopitiam with these wooden chair and rounded table. Food is tasty and delicious, black sauce fried fish, fried prawn with soy sauce, kailan and taufu is my appetite.
