We stumbled upon this roadside stall while searching for some local Penang food, and it turned out to be a pleasant find. It's a family-run business located right in front of a primary school and operates only in the evenings.

When you see there is a long queue of locals on the road side, you know this definitely would be something that is special in Penang! I found this place very accidentally just when the car drove by.

This stall has been here for decades, the person running the stall is 2nd/3rd generation while I myself am a 4th generation customer. The noodles are well flavoured, well cooked with wok hei flavour and not too oily.

Honestly, it's a below-average economy beehoon for a singaporean taste bud, having eaten multiple better versions back home. But zai er is great and staffs are very friendly.

Nice place, located at the corner of the road side. To eat with the locals. Peanut tongsui and lobak is good. Fried beehoon a bit salty.

A local dining spot without much fanfare. Food is decent & enjoyable but nothing out of the world. Red bean soup is recommended, surprisingly it wasn’t too sweet.
