I have been hearing this famous Nasi Kandar Beratur for very long time, that every time that I passby that area I will tell myself must go eat but always ended up in Nasi Kandar Line Clear which is my all time favourite.

In business since 1943, the famous Nasi Kandar Beratur got its name from the long queue of people outside the shop. I almost didn’t want to beratur (line up) because I’m generally quite impatient.

The food is just okay, not special. But it is one of only few nasi kandar sellers that opens at night. The gravy is too thick and covering each other. Drinks are ordered and paid separately.

The food was nice. It was the savory type of curry. The service was fast and the price was affordable. Just that the sitting area was full of mosquitos. Overall okay 👍

Quality of the food worsens. Mix curry was so diluted and the fried cabbage was overcooked. The only thing that’s good was the fried chicken

Kuah wasn’t too spicy. Ayam bawang was sweet and savoury, and topped with lots of caramelized onions. Beef was fall-apart tender. RM14
