When a friend told me about the original Chu Yoke Weng outlet in Sungai Dua, I knew I had to pay this place a visit. Good thing rif and I got there before noon, so the food came quite quickly.

The original Chu Yoke Weng restaurant is located at Taman Pekaka. It recently opened a second outlet at The One in Bayan Baru. The name of the restaurant has been changed slightly: Restoran Cho Yok Weng (猪肉溁琵琶鸭专卖店).

Restoran Chu Yoke Weng is famous for its 'Pi Pa' Duck and it is located at the side of Kedai Kopi Bee San at the Junction of Air Itam Road & Boundary Road, Penang. The Boss Mr. Low has been operating there for more than 20 years.

I've seen this shop for quite a long time so I went in out of curiosity to try their duck rice. I personally felt that the duck taste salty so I didn't put on their sauce to avoid it get even more salty.

When I was working in Penang about 20 years ago, I often stopped by this shop with my sister to enjoy their Pi Pa duck. I recently came back from the UK and was really looking forward to eating there again—and I’m so glad I did.

I was attracted to go into this restaurant by the nice photos of the roasted duck and BBQ pork. We were not too hungry and we just ordered a dish of roasted duck noodle, and a dish of BBQ pork and roasted pork rice.

Portion very small for rm11, I havent never seen such a small portion of meat in my entire history of buying dabao... famous for their duck, but only give 4pcs. Too bad only noticed after I reached home, otherwise I top up on the spot.

Please do not be deceived by the exterior of this shop. Do yourself a favor, walk in to give this hidden gem a try! Recommended by a friend who grew up eating at this place. We came at non peak hour, service and speed are good.

Review from 5-7years ago looks good but when I order it today, the pi pa duck looks lack of roast. Orange colour not crispy at all, taste is good but can't compare with Kepong wai sek gai duck

This is my family's favorite duck restaurant. Whenever we're in Penang, we have to eat here a few times to satisfy our cravings. The four of us usually order a whole duck (the picture only shows half).
