In Penang, its kinda hard to find good food? Depends how you look at that and your taste bud how sensitive. However I saw this youtuber ( Elmo Lee ) one of the oldest youtuber in Malaysia introduce this place I was like look at their food.

I love Peranakan food - it is a much underestimated cuisine. Really enjoyed my meal at Winn’s. We had the Assam fish which was succulent and tangy. Kapitan Chicken which had a gentle spiciness that grew on you.

Food was fantastic and authentic representation of nyonya cuisine featuring several iconic dishes such as Kapitan Chicken and Petai (stink beans, but these are delicious). Nestled in a traditional looking house.

We were so glad we visited this restaurant which was recommended by our driver. I was blown away by the Jiu Hu Char, with deep, slow-building umami that is comforting yet refined, unfolding gently with each bite.

Booked via WhatsApp. Fast and efficient booking. Reservation is a must They have private carpark for those driving. Service is the great Penang hospitality. Staff is great to advise if we over ordered. Food is 5 ⭐️.

I enjoyed my meal here today. The flavours feel less commercialized and has a more homey domestic kitchen vibe to it. Parking is limited so there will be double parking.

Came across this restaurant through the Michelin guide. The food was fantastic. The service was excellent and the owners very kind. My husband’s favorite dish was the Pie Tee shells and my favorite was the kapitan chicken.

Second time here and it’s still good. Staff very friendly and there is a variety of choices of food. I love the cincalok pork and nasi ulam. Of course the other dishes are good too. Love their desserts.
