77 Food Yard (formerly Kwai Lock) is our go-to breakfast spot whenever Jien and I are in Penang. This coffeeshop houses quite a few Penang hawker stalls and majority are decent or above average – so you get to enjoy a variety of Penang favourites under one roof.

This is another great option in Georgetown. The herbal duck mee sua is famous here and I absolutely loved the broth even though the duck meet was a little tough.

If you politely ask for a snapshot of the simmering duck legs at 77 Food Yard, the jovial uncle in charge of the stall will gladly oblige despite teasing from his friends. Naturally sweetened with bright red wolfberries, the sublime stock will haunt you for days.

What a hidden gem around Pulau Tikus Market. Must try their one of the tenant inside this hawker center. Must try their Sarawak Kolo Mee. Its really really delicious. Their noodle is one of the best in Penang for sure. I like it.

Well, this is one of the breakfast spots in Pulau Tikus market. The steamed buns here are delicious, worth a try. The white coffee is also great. The place is quite clean. The staff is also quick 💯.

We ordered the kayak bay, fish ball noodles, char siu gon lou, steam turnip cake. Kaya Bau surprisingly amazingly delish, fragrant n not sweet. Both Noodle dishes okay. Turnip cake terrible!

Love the Sabah Pan Mee, it's delicious 🍜 👍🏼. Perfect for those who want comfort food for breakfast. The Bak Kut Teh stall next to this Pan Mee is also worth a try. There are many menu options.

My mum loves coming to this Kopitiam for ak tooi mee sua. They also have chicken leg and pork ribs as alternative meats. The soup is rich and aromatic with exotic ingredients like goji berries

1st time trying grouper fish porridge & yu sang kai chok (fish chicken porridge) at this stall. So yummy😋 😋😋 The seller uncle is so friendly & speaks Cantonese. Definitely will come again. HIGHLY recommended 👍 👍👍
