Voted as one of the best Chinese restaurants in Penang, Foong Wei is well-known by the locals. The setting is very comfortable (clean and tidy) and staffs are very attentive.

Made reservation in advance. The restaurant had a pleasant atmosphere, but the food was fairly average and lacked standout flavors. The service was acceptable and the staff were polite but not especially attentive.

One of our family restaurant where we have been there for at least the last twenty odd years. No fuss Cantonese cuisine or chu char in town. This place will never goes wrong be it lunch or dinner.

about as good as it gets for fancy eating. best thing on table was chun piah, which in classic form is worthy custodian of sepia tinge and fringe. there're also prawn rolls, with actual bits and pieces sticking out.

A Chinese restaurant frequently visited by tourists visiting Penang. This restaurant is perfect for visiting with family or friends. The service is excellent, the staff is friendly, and the food is delicious.

Excellent local Malaysian Chinese cuisine, the food here is amazing and it is definitely better than any Chinese restaurant we ever tried in Sydney. The crab meat soup is a must try.
